This is an acclaimed Czech New-Wave movie, using Kafka+Froid as the most of these, and very national culture based. Still, unlike the rest, this flick is almost straightforward surreaslistic suspense, so it's engaging and enjoyable, as it progresses like an urban tale to folk story. Besides, it displays a historically correct picture of life under Communist regime without atrocities or politics, but yes, I do recognize that mood! I so Loved this movie..The husband was so Funny at times...The young Girl was Bad but kind..lol..I don't like how It ended though...(c)Tx manditoe
